San Francisco

Hello everybody, this time our trip took place in an amazing city called San Francisco. San Francisco, in northern California, is a hilly city on the tip of a peninsula surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. It's known for its year-round fog, iconic Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars and colorful Victorian houses. The Financial District's Transamerica Pyramid is its most distinctive skyscraper. In the bay sits Alcatraz Island, site of the notorious former prison.

At first, we decided to pick a nice hotel to stay in. After further consideration Parc 55 San Francisco - A Hilton Hotel. It is located  55 Cyril Magnin St. This contemporary, high-rise hotel is a 2-minute walk from Westfield San Francisco Centre mall and 9 minutes' walk from Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Sophisticated rooms and suites feature bay windows with San Francisco views. Dining options include a chic American restaurant/bar, a hip Thai restaurant and a coffee shop. There’s a gym, plus a business center with free WiFi.

Now let's talk about places to get some delicious food. One of them is Waterbar, which is located on 399 The Embarcadero. Happy-hour crowds seek oysters, champagne, views & more at a circular bar, a deck & outdoor tables.

Then we headed out sightseeings and the first iconic place turned out to be Lombard Street. Lombard Street is an east–west street in San Francisco, California that is famous for a steep, one-block section with eight hairpin turns. Stretching from The Presidio east to The Embarcadero (with a gap on Telegraph Hill), most of the street's western segment is a major thoroughfare designated as part of U.S. Route 101. The famous one-block section, claimed as "the most crooked street in the world", is located along the eastern segment in the Russian Hill neighborhood.

Another famous tourist attraction is tram, that has become a true icon of the city. The San Francisco cable car system is the world's last manually operated cable car system. An icon of San Francisco, the cable car system forms part of the intermodal urban transport network operated by the San Francisco Municipal Railway.

All in all, our trip to San Francisco was incredibly enjoyable, so we definitely suggest u to come here and explore this amazing American city.
